If your forklift is running bad, and in need of repairs, chances are that you are going to need forklift parts to get it back in working order. If you are planning on doing the repair work to your forklift yourself, you might have to have parts in order to get it done. Parts for a forklift come in all shapes and sizes. No two parts are the same on a lift, and depending on what you need to replace, that will make a huge difference in the part that you need as well as the price of the part.
If your forklift is still under any kind of warranty, you just might find that most or all of your forklift parts will be covered. You might even find that the labor to fix the lift will be covered as well, and that will help your wallet immensely. However, if only the parts are covered by the warranty, that is better than nothing at all. You can order the parts and have them shipped directly to you so that you can then get to work on the lift or have someone work on it for you. Your forklift will be up and running again in no time.
Forklift parts can be found at many part stores. Some of the automotive part stores will carry some of the parts that you might need for the engine, but if the lift parts are the ones that you are in need of you might have to find a parts supply store and have them ordered. Just be sure that you let them know the part that is needed as well as the make and model of the lift that it is for. Ask them to check the correct size and that it will fit your lift. This will save you grief in the long run, and keep you from running back and forth with parts that will not fit or work. DONE
Depending on the forklift parts that are needed, you might be able to find some that have been rebuilt or refurbished. If this is the case, ask the place that you are buying them from to test the part in front of you or for a warranty. Also ask about exchanging the part if you get it back to the shop and it does not fit. Because you will have no use for a part that will not fit your lift.
